LOVE

Yesterday, my husband and I had a wonderful afternoon with our new clients, Michael & Jennifer on their Engagement Session.  We had delicious snacks together, laughed, told stories -- we really enjoyed their company, and seeing their interaction between each other.

After our session was over, and we said our goodbyes, I couldn't help but realize how fortunate I am to have my husband, Bryon, right there with me, being a part of this beautiful venture.  He is at every wedding and engagement session with me, working hard, as my assistant and second shooter---not because it's his dream, but because it's mine.  He has his own busy schedule -- running his own business, being an amazing father and husband, caring for his family, taking time out and helping others, starting another side business, and so much more.  Yet, he never complains. No matter how tired he is, or how much his back is hurting him -- he never, EVER, makes me feel like he doesn't want to be there for me, on the job, shooting weddings and engagements. He ceases to amaze me with his LOYAL LOVE and SUPPORT.

His desire to make me happy is the reason he gained his skills as an amazing assistant and second shooter.  I truly feel that if he wasn't in my life, I wouldn't be where I am today, especially as a photographer.

His desire to make me happy led him to obtain great photography skills in such a short period of time, and has become such a huge part in taking great care of our precious clients.  I truly feel that if he wasn't in my life, I wouldn't be where I am today, especially as a photographer.

Thank you so much.  I love you, Bubba.

Los Angeles Engagement - Myra & Melvin

Such an incredibly fun time with Myra and Melvin on our Engagement Session in Los Angeles. We started our trek with our first stop at The Grove and the Historic Farmer's Market.  It was such a treat for me because I hadn't been to the Farmer's Market since I was a teenager!  It brought me WAY back!  I definitely plan on going again soon!  Our next stop was Vista Hermosa Park, overlooking the Downtown LA skyline.  Our final stop was the 1st Street Bridge.  That was very exciting, as I used to pass under that bridge every day, while riding the train to Los Angeles, where I worked for 19 years!  Here are some pics from their awesome engagement shoot!  :)

Orange County Engagement - Raven & Travis

After Travis & Raven hired me to photograph their wedding, we discussed plans for their engagement session.  Raven suggested a romantic picnic setting with wine so I immediately thought of the quaint, historic Los Rios District in San Juan Capistrano for their engagement session.  Our first stop was Five Vines Winery Bar where my husband (my second shooter) and I met them for the first time.  What an amazing and adorable couple!!!  Their chemistry and zest for life made their love pour out so easily, making the session so much fun, and one to remember.  The picnic idea was great for these two lovebirds.  They couldn't stop staring at each other.  They're so happy!  Definitely an amazing engagement session!  :)

Oh, and I forgot to mention that this awesome engagement session was featured on BP4U's "Photographer of the Week"!  It's truly an honor.  :)
