San Juan Capistrano Wedding ~ Justin and Hailey

Jitters, excitement, anxiousness, happiness ..... these are just a few of the many emotions a couple feels or experiences on the morning of their wedding, and Hailey & Justin were no exception.  Despite the worries that most every bride & groom go through, the day turned out wonderfully!  My morning started out with driving to meet up with Hailey and her mom at the very trendy Eli Alexander Salon (Marbella) in San Juan Capistrano.  Her mother has been getting her hair done with Eli for the past 20 years!  It was an extra treat for me because I got to visit my beautiful and wonderful friend, Loret (co-owner of the salon).

Our next stop was Hailey's home, where she proceeded to get ready and share gifts with her bridesmaids.  Meanwhile, my hubby and second shooter, Bryon, was hanging out with Justin and the guys as they got ready for the big day.

The ceremony was beautiful and touching as they exchanged vows among family and their closest friends at their local congregation.  Afterward, we snapped some photos in the quaint Los Dios District in San Juan Capistrano, which is always a great place for pics.  Finally, Hailey & Justin celebrated the evening at the new venue, also in San Juan Capistrano, Plaza de Magdalena, and danced the night away.  It was a great time and we were so thankful to have been a part of something very special.  Here are few images from their day.  Enjoy!

Padua Hills Wedding ~ Holley & Richie

They were high school sweethearts, both in their freshmen year.  Richie was on the football team and Holley was a cheerleader.  She always thought he was cute but never felt he was her type, except for that smile!  She loved his smile.

Richie would see her sitting on the bench every morning, eating their high school's famous freshly made chocolate chip cookies.  They talked every now and then and he always thought she was cute, even with all those cookie crumbs on her face.

It was in their Junior year while at a friend's party where they actually started to get to know each other.  They talked, they danced -- and then -- then kissed.  The rest is history!

Seven years later, they became husband and wife!! It was such a beautiful day!

Orange County Toddler Session ~ Olivia

Yup..... another awesome session with 18-month old Olivia.  I'm tickled that I've been documenting Olivia and her parents for the last few years now.  First, was an engagement session, then a wedding, a newborn session, a 6-month old session, a 1-year old session, and now, Olivia's 18 month old session.  This little beauty has had 4 photo sessions and is quite the pro now!  LOVE this little girl.  Her personality really comes through in these images.  :)

Downtown Los Angeles Engagement Session ~ Hailey & Justin

Cocktails, appetizers, laughter, and a couple in love -- the perfect recipe for an awesome Engagement Session!  We sure did have a blast with Hailey & Justin.  Our first stop was the Pattern Bar, which we actually stumbled upon by accident.  Such a cool spot, we couldn't pass it up.  The food was incredibly delicious, as were the cocktails.

Next, we made our way to the beautiful Walt Disney Concert Hall, taking a few pics along the way.  Wow.. what a remarkable piece of architectural work.  I never realized how beautiful it was up close.  I had the privilege of working in Downtown Los Angeles from 1989 to 2008, so i was able to see the construction from the very beginning to completion, from 1999 to 2003. But never once did I have the opportunity to experience up close, even though I worked there for all those years.  It was beautiful, and I had a great time capturing some awesome shots of Hailey & Justin.  :)

Next stop was the Arts District, followed by a romp on the roof of a very cool place called Perch.  Our final stop was at a fabulous restaurant called Industriel.  Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures cuz we were so tired and I just wanted to relax and enjoy the ambiance, food, cocktails, and most importantly, my clients, and friends, Justin & Hailey. :)  It was a great day!
