Yup..... another awesome session with 18-month old Olivia. I'm tickled that I've been documenting Olivia and her parents for the last few years now. First, was an engagement session, then a wedding, a newborn session, a 6-month old session, a 1-year old session, and now, Olivia's 18 month old session. This little beauty has had 4 photo sessions and is quite the pro now! LOVE this little girl. Her personality really comes through in these images. :)
Makenzie was only 7 years old when she met my daughter, Lindsey. They became inseparable and would spend every waking moment with each other. Fast forward 11 years. Makenzie has grown into a very loving, amazing individual. Though she possess a very shy and timid demeanor, you can't help but be intrigued by her beauty, grace, elegance and unparalleled artistic style. When she requested Downtown Los Angeles for her Senior Pictures, it was a no brainer!
We started our trip at the Bradbury Building, which opened its doors in 1893. Gorgeous! We then we made our way over to Grand Central Market for some delicious breakfast at EggSlut. OMG! Delicious!
Next, we headed over to Ace Hotel for some pics in the lobby and on the roof. Great hotel! After that, we headed towards Melrose and stopped at PaliHotel. Loved that place! Great colors, walls and decor!
Last stop was the Arts District where we were able to get some great shots with an industrial background. It was quite a busy day, but we had a great time---one I won't soon forget! XOXO
I was so very excited when Holley contacted me to shoot her wedding at the end of this year! You see, I had already had the pleasure of documenting her brother's wedding last year in Temecula, and was so very honored that Holley & Richie loved the pictures so much that they wanted me to document their wedding also! Shock. Amazement. Disbelief. Squeels. Excitement. Happiness. These are the words that pretty much described my feelings when I found out yesterday that my photo won First Place in the Shoot and Share Contest. With 110,928 photos submitted in 21 categories, and 23,153,465 votes, I am SO INCREDIBLY HONORED for this amazing achievement. This photo placed First in "Just the Groom" category. I'm still amazed and in disbelief. A HUGE thank you to the Shoot and Share Community of highly-esteemed and talented photographers who voted for this photo. It is truly an honor. Thank you so much!!
