Royal Vista Golf Club Wedding ~ Jason & Marie

I always adore photographing weddings, especially when the Bride & Groom opt for a first look!  Renowned photographer, Melissa Jill, discusses "To First Look or Not to First Look."  After reading this article, Jason & Marie decided to go for it!  And, they were happy they did, as you can see from the really great candid moments!

I also love when the bride and groom spend time carefully planning all the details. Marie painted/illustrated their own wedding invitations!  They even had a little cake topper that included their beloved dog, Piper!

The wedding and reception took place at the Royal Vista Golf Club in Rowland Heights, which was also catered by the venue.  They had a very special treat when Marie's sister and a close family friend sang Endless Love by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie.

It was a beautiful wedding, and special thanks goes to a few people that helped their wedding day go so smoothly.

Shoot and Share Contest - 1st Place

Shock.  Amazement.  Disbelief.  Squeels.  Excitement.  Happiness.  These are the words that pretty much described my feelings when I found out yesterday that my photo won First Place in the Shoot and Share Contest.  With 110,928 photos submitted in 21 categories, and 23,153,465 votes, I am SO INCREDIBLY HONORED for this amazing achievement.  This photo placed First in "Just the Groom" category.   I'm still amazed and in disbelief.  A HUGE thank you to the Shoot and Share Community of highly-esteemed and talented photographers who voted for this photo.  It is truly an honor.  Thank you so much!!

Rachel & Kevin ~ Married

Kevin & Rachel decided to have their First Look" photos at Segerstrom Center for the Arts!   What a gorgeous building -- and a gorgeous day it was!!  We were able to get some amazing shots at the Center.  The Reception was beautifully decorated by Kristen Frasco, which took place at Il Fornaio Restaurant in Irvine.  It was truly a beautiful day!
